A lot of creatives overlook the fact that they are a 'product' or 'personal brand' and like all products you will do better in some markets than others, and like all products you need to clearly show what you have to offer and also upskill/learn new 'features' sometimes to secure the work you want.In a nutshell, your skills and all you have to offer are inside the box and the way in which you market yourself is the package and advertising.Marketing is the backbone of you as a business! Your talents and your skills are what secure you the job but we need to get you out there and seen by the people you want to be seen. There is no point in having an amazing product but no one seeing it or only the wrong people are seeing it.As multifaceted individuals you have lots to offer, whether that is the classic triple threat, dancer and PT, performer and dance school owner, writer and lecturer, actor and producer and so on.
